Emmett is scheduled to have some metal caps put on today, in oder to fix 2 or 3 problem teeth. Emmett can be a chewer and that has proven to be a problem. 

I got behind on his dentist visits over the last two years and I totally own that.  I did the best I could but I guess my best wasn’t good enough. I failed him and I won’t do that again.  

He was at the dentist about a month or so ago and we figured out what needed to be done and that will be happening today.  

I know Emmett will do fine but I’m still nervous because I know what they are going to be doing and I certainly wouldn’t want to have that done. That being said, as terrified of the dentist as I am, I would take his place in a heartbeat if I could. 

Unfortunately, that’s not something I can do, so instead, I’m going to focus on being there for him during the process and making sure this never happens again. Some of the problem is genetic but that’s all the more reason to stay on top of this.  

Gavin and Elliott will stay with my Mom while Lizze and I take Emmett today.  My Mom is awesome and I truly appreciate all her help.  ☺️
