After what seemed to be the *longest *Christmas break *ever*, we were looking forward to the boys returning to school today. Unfortunately, like some cruel twist of fate, mother nature has seen fit to curse us with record breaking cold temperatures.
While I love my kids with all my heart, sometimes I need a break in order to be a better father....and preserve my sanity.
With the temperatures as dangerously low as they are, school has been canceled for today and most likely for tomorrow as well. I'm ready to pull out what's left of my hair. The kids are bouncing off the walls and I'm pretty much over my limit.
Having said that, we will make do the best we can.
I know that we aren't the only family dealing with this particular situation and so please know our thoughts are with you. :-)
