Emmett and Gavin are at their Mom's for the weekend. We've been dealing with a few obstacles in regards to visits and I wasn't sure they would want to go or not. I'm really glad that we've navigated some of these things and they were comfortable moving forward.
Sometimes navigating these things can be very challenging but it's all part of life. Well, it's all part of divorced life anyway.
Elliott on the other hand is not in the same place as his brothers so he stayed home, and that's okay. I had quite a bit of work that needed to get done and some invoicing as well. I'd say I managed to complete about 70% of what I needed to get done. I feel pretty good about that.
Anyway, tonight I thought I would help Elliott feel a little better. We built a bonfire and he invited a friend over. They cooked hotdogs over the fire and hung out until the mosquitoes got too bad. They hung out for a bit after that and I drove them home. It's so good for him to have a social life, and I'm definitely here to support it.
I feel like it's been a good day, and I'm going to bed feeling pretty good. I've still got a lot of work to do but things are moving into place, and I'm so grateful for that.
