I thought this was really cool and wanted to share before getting lost in my day. As you may or may not know, Elliott and Emmett have found that they love cooking and baking. Elliott’s likes to cook and Emmett likes to bake. They both picked these up during COVID lockdown and do a really good job.

Yesterday, Emmett decided to bake peanut butter cookies. He hasn’t really baked in a little while and he’s been having a but of a rough time lately.

Anyway, he decided to bake yesterday afternoon and they turned out delicious. I will admit to eating more than I should have, especially considering I’m avoiding carbs but someone once told me to eat it if the kids make it and just forget the carbs. That was good advice then and it’s good advice now.

For the record, I’m down over 30 lbs this year and I’m not stopping until I reach my goal.

Emmett’s cookies were absolutely delicious and I’m so proud of him.

I want to also mention Elliott because he likes to make scrambled eggs and he does a fantastic job. He always asks if he can some with me. Most of the time I’ve already eaten but I have been gratefully accepting them lately. He’s such a sweet kid and cooks some crazy delicious eggs.

Not to be outdone, Gavin has decided that he wants to learn to cook as well.

I really am such a lucky person to have such amazing kids. Well done gentlemen. Well done.
