It's been a really good day, at least as far as apocalyptic pandemics go. I feel like we're going pretty good right now. There hasn't been a great deal of fighting and I even got my laundry done. Well, by done I mean washed and dried. I still have to fold, sort and put away. Progress is progress though.
I had a couple of meetings today and have so really cool things coming down the shoot. As I get more details, I'll share them with you.
I have a few interviews scheduled for next week and I'm really excited to get things back on track. Emmett may join me once again because really had fun the last time. I've received so much positive feedback about that episode and I had a blast working with Emmett. My people are talking with his people to see if he can fit me into his schedule. ☺
Homework is still a nightmare and it's taking a great deal of effort but the boys are making progress and that's positive. I think they will actually get this all completed before Monday, at which point we'll do it all again.
Gavin is doing pretty good as well. I'm not really seeing any significant changes as he's coming off his medication. I fully anticipate that changing in the very near future but I'm hoping to channel his energy into his book that he's writing. He's written 12 chapters so far and began typing it today.
I'm helping him to learn Word and Grammarly is helping with his grammar and punctuation. He has some serious talent and hope to keep him focusing on something positive.
He did have some trouble with his IVIG Infusion this morning but he made it through and we'll apply those lessons toward making Monday's infusion go better for him.
On a sad note, it looks like we're losing another fish. It's not doing so well and I don't think it's going to make it more than another day or so. The kids are sad but life isn't always pleasant and we have to learn to deal with loss. Luckily, we have nothing but time to work on things like this right now.
