After the chaotic morning, we recovered nicely and pretty much kicked ass. The chaos was caused by things I forgot to do last night before I went to bed and it had nothing to do with the kids.

I’m glad to share that both boys went to school today, without any problems.

Emmett’s still in pain and Elliott is still struggling but both took on today with a positive attitude and will hopefully have a great day. Truthfully, I’d be happy with a decent or survivable day at this point.

Both of the boys hopped out of the car with a smile on their face and that’s so good to see. I’m not saying that today is going to be easy but I think they’re going to kick Mondays ass.. 😀

In other news, I finally was able to get Gavin walking for almost a full hour today. We moved up to 3.1 miles this morning and it feels good to be back to where I was prior to our lives being turned upside down earlier this summer. Gavin did very well and I think we’ll stay here for a little while before bumping things up again.

I know it’s a Monday but I’m feeling pretty good.
