Autism can be challenging enough for a parent but the reality is, Autism usually brings at least one friend along for the ride. This friend is called a comorbid diagnoses.
A comorbid diagnoses is a secondary diagnosis that goes along with the main diagnosis. For example, many kids diagnosed with Autism may also be diagnosed with ADHD, Sensory Processing Disorder and anxiety.
