Our week has been re-prioritized in the wake on my father in laws heart attack. My Mom is going to be taking the boys to school and then hanging out with Gavin. This is a huge help because we need to get back to the hospital as early as we can.

Right now, what matters most is rallying around our family and being there for whatever is needed.

The boys are aware that Grandpa’s sick and in the hospital getting better. They don’t need to know any more than that at this point, and frankly, the only reason we said anything is because they overheard someone asking how her Dad was doing.

They seem to be doing okay with it and that makes it much easier for us to redirect our attention to what’s going in at the hospital over the next few days.
