I don't know what happened to me today. I didn't sleep well last night but I haven't been this tired in a really long time. The only way I can think to describe what happened to me today was that I *crashed. *
It happens to the best of us and I'm clearly no exception. I finally just ran myself into the ground.
This has only happened once or twice but when it hits, it hits hard.
I spent the majority of the day sleeping and that was only possible because Lizze took over, letting me get the rest I desperately needed.
It's so easy to burn out when you're raising special needs children. It's easy to get all caught up in the trenches of our lives and forget to take care of ourselves.
Thankfully, I wasn't too far gone and a having most of the day off was all I needed to get back on my feet.
