It sounds weird but I worry when my kids with #Autism deviate from their normal routine

It sounds weird but I worry when my kids with #Autism deviate from their normal routine

The boys got off to school this morning without too much of a problem. Elliott was up way too early again but aside from needing a snack, he let everyone sleep.

Emmett on the other hand, slept through the entire night, in his own bed... This doesn't happen very often but it does on occasion.

In all seriousness though, when I wake up and he's not next to me, I'm all like, *we're finally making progress*. Then I get nervous and run into his room and make sure he's still breathing..

I know that sounds weird but Emmett is a creature of habit and rarely ever deviates from his routine...

My kids deviating from their routine isn't a bad thing necessarily because could mean they're stepping outside their comfort zone. This just happens so rarely, I worry that somethings wrong when it happens.

Anyway, like I said, the boys got off to school and now I'm sitting in the parking lot, waiting for Gavin's physical therapy to be over.

I'm in a pretty good mood but have way too many things to do today.
