Today has been one of the most exhausting days in a long time.  On the other side of the coin, it was also very productive.

Emmett’s appointment went pretty well.

Nothing is going to change until we receive the results of his blood work.  Yes, he had blood work and yes, it wasn’t very pleasant but when it came down to it, he was very brave.

Emmett and I spent the majority of the day together.  It was nice to get some one on one time with him. 

After we arrived back in Canton, we stopped at the store and did some clothes shopping for him.  He needed pants, socks that he might actually wear and a pair of sandals. 

The only thing I couldn’t find was size 6 khakis for school.  Those are really tough to find. 

That said, I did pretty awesome because I got him three pairs of jeans, socks and sandals for under $40. I think that’s pretty good.  Is that pretty good?

Anyway, I had a great time with Emmett today and while I feel like I was driving forever, it was a good day. 

I’m so tired that I just might actually fall asleep tonight and that would be a perfect ending to a great day.  ☺
