It was another challenging morning

Elliott has a follow up appointment with Dr.  Reynolds’ nurse practitioner morning.  Holy cow… You would think we were pulling his finger nails out or something.

He absolutely freaks out when it comes to going to the doctors.

This was just a meds check and he was hysterical over having to go.  He’s always been this way when it comes to doctors.  Nothing has ever happened that would have been traumatic or anything like that.

The only thing I can think of is all the time he spent in the NICU when he was first born.  Maybe that sorta set the tone for him going forward.  The reality is that his time spent in the NICU was not pleasant but I’m not sure he remembers that.

Perhaps it’s just his anxiety.
