Today was one of those days that just lasted forever. Because of the change in barometric pressure, Lizze has been in a great deal of pain today. Her movement was very limited today.
My Mom suffers from Fibromyalgia as well and was moving really slow today for the same reasons.
Gavin had a really good day and he never brought up any of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle’s stuff from yesterday. I don’t know if that means he’s just being more secretive or he simply wasn’t experiencing anything today.
Elliott and Emmett had a few smaller meltdowns today but nothing significant.
Emmett wouldn’t eat much for some reason today. Perhaps he’s getting ready for another fever flare. When he doesn’t want to eat, that’s usually a good sign that one is impending.
On my end, I was really limited to what I could do today because Lizze was in really bad shape. I managed to go grocery shopping and return the car to my parents. Oh.. I also made a big pot of homemade Chicken Noodle Soup this afternoon. That was cool.
I’m totally exhausted because the kids were a handful. I even broke out the trampoline, hoping that would be a more enticing focus for their abundance of excess energy. Sadly, they still preferred jumping from couch to couch.
Lizze wasn’t able to really help as much as I know she would have liked to today.
Having said that, I don’t think I could have survived today if it hadn’t been for the help she did give me.
While our team is unbalanced and the workload uneven, we function as a team nonetheless. Each of us has a role to play, no matter how big or small.
