Lizze and I will get a short reprieve this afternoon. The boys are going to hang out with her parents today.
Lizze let me sleep in this morning and now she’s back in bed, probably for the rest of the day. The boys will be leaving in about an hour or so and while they will be missed, I need the break.
We’ve entered into day two of the three day weekend and it’s dragging on forever.
Hopefully, I can get some rest this afternoon. I’m not going to fool anyone, I’ll likely go right to sleep as soon as the boys leave. I’m so desperately exhausted that there will not be any productivity out of me today.
When you are an exhausted special needs parent, you do what you must to survive.
