One of the most amazing things about my blogging career (and I use the term career loosely) is the feedback I get from my readers. This week has been especially inspiring for me.
It’s no secret that this has been a rough week for me personally. I don’t hide from that because it is what it is.
Having said that, I received tons of emails this week from my readers, sharing personal stories and thanking me for doing what I’m doing. I can’t even begin to tell you how amazing it feels to know that I’m actually helping people.
My goal all along has been to try and help at least one person to realize that they aren’t alone and maybe, just maybe, that knowledge would help them feel a little better.
As it turns out, it’s working and a great many people are deriving comfort or solace from reading my blog. While I won’t share the emails or the content, I thought I would ask you all a favor.
If you’ve found Lost and Tired a benefit in any way at all, would you please leave a comment below. It will help to have personal recommendations as I grow this site and try to reach more people.

this blog has been a Godsend. I have never written anything on the internet. I am so thankful for Rob and his family and his blog so i can get some of my feelings out and not keep them bottled up. Sometimes it feels good to have something to say myself that might help somebody. This blog helps me calm down. Thank you!
As someone who is not autistic, nor personally knowing anyone who is, nor having experience with mental illness, I have found this blog to be extremely educational. It has made me more aware, compassionate, and understanding of those who are different than I am. I’ve come to care about your family through the stories and experiences you have been so kind to share with us and it amazes me that you find the strength to go on instead of walking out on Lizze and the kids. Your strength and perseverance is an inspiration.
Thank you so much for what you do. 🙂
shawneerenee31 Meaghan1985 thank you both very, very much. 🙂
I find this blog VERY helpful. I also really like that you are so honest and up front about what life is like as a Special Needs Parent. The road is not easy and I find comfort in the fact that we are not the only parents who face DAILY struggles. THANK YOU for what you do, it is VERY much appreciated!!!
I’ve found this blog to very interesting and engaging. I think you really paint the picture as to what life is like with special needs kids, and occasionally I bring up your family when I get into arguments with people about autism and/or mental illness.
