I noticed on Monday that Emmett was talking as though his throat was sore.  This is usually a sign of an impending Fever Flare. Lately, he’s been getting the mouth sores going all the way down his throat, which makes it really sore. 

We can’t see down his throat but we checked his mouth and he appears to have sores popping up on his tongue and along his gum line. 

These sores are very painful and make his life even more challenging for the 7 to 10 days they are present. 

Lizze and I had just gone to bed when Emmett came running into our room, as fast as his little legs would carry him. He was burning up and in need of some Motrin, to break his fever. 

He’s comfortable and back in his own bed. 

At this point in time, all signs point to yet another PFAPA related Fever Flares.

If this is indeed the case, the next 7 to 10 days are not going to be much fun……for anyone.  Please keep Emmett in your thoughts and prayers.  I really appreciate it. 🙁
