Today's a pretty big day for me. I will be attending the *Strategic Planning Meeting *of the Autism Society of Greater Akron this morning.
I've never been to one of these but both myself and my new friend Mike are Ambassadors to Stark County.
Originally, we were both going to be sitting on the Board of Directors/Advisory Committee but that's been tabled for now. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't disappointed but it makes more sense to do things this way, at least for now.
We are going to be meeting in Fairlawn from 9am - 1pm.
As I've never been to one of these before, I'm not sure what to expect. Having said that, I'm really excited to be a part of such a great organization. I believe very strongly in helping the people in real life and that's what the Autism Society does.
I'll let you all know how it goes.... :-)
