I mentioned yesterday that Emmett was supposed to have a checkup on Tuesday with his pediatrician. That appointment didn’t happen and here’s why.
This particular appointment would have been accompanied by a vaccine and Emmett and Elliott both, seem to be fighting a cold.
Our pediatrician will not vaccinate if the kids are even remotely under the weather. He’s very conservative and it’s one of the reasons we like him so much.
Anyway, we would have had to make a second trip to finish up the appointment and it made more sense to simply reschedule. Plus, Elliott and Gavin both need checkups as well and this way we can schedule them all at the same time.
Getting everything done in one trip makes a great deal more sense than making multiple out of town trips.
We just have to call back today and set everything up.
Anyway, this was one of those times that it made more sense to cancel and reschedule, so that’s exactly what we did.
