To my children: You can always come home

Without fail, Emmett insisted on coming home tonight. We got a call around 8pm saying that Emmett was ready to come home.

Apparently, in true Emmett fashion, he declared that we have to follow the pattern. That pattern is that he gets a tubby at Grandma's house and then comes home. He just kills me sometime.  :-)

Emmett is big on patterns.

Anyway, while we need the break, it's way more important that my kids know they can always come home. We can get a break some other time.

We should also thank Grandpa for driving him home again.  :-)
