My family's struggle: We're shutting your electric off

Today was going so well and now it's been flush down the proverbial toilet. In yet another *epic* parenting fail, AEP has come out to shut us off due to my inability to keep up with the bill.

This is my fault and I'm working really hard to address these problems.

To AEP's credit, the technician that has come out to shut us off was very nice and treated us with respect.  I appreciate that.

Now that the boys are in school full time again, I can devote my time to bettering our situation.  My new job is going to begin paying off in the immediate future and all I have to do is make it through until then.

This is not something unique to my family.  There are  countless families out there going through the same or similar struggle.

We are hoping beyond hope that we can get a medical certificate to get us through the month of September.

Please say a prayer for my family and all the others out there going through similar struggles.  Thank you so much and remember that if you are struggling, you aren't alone.  I'm sharing this with you to not only raise awareness for my family but for yours as well.
