Lizze is not having a very good day. She’s in a great deal of pain and also very, very fatigued. She literally cannot stay awake.
She suffers from Fibromyalgia and all that goes along with it.
The weather here in Ohio has been mostly rain lately and the change in barometric pressure seems to really aggravate her symptoms. I always thought it was just the rain but I’ve been educated by many people with Fibromyalgia and they explained that it’s actually the change in barometric pressure.
Anyway, this is kicking her butt and my heart is breaking for her.
She has tried to get up and come downstairs but falls asleep so I just sent her back to bed. I appreciate the effort but it’s sorta frustrating for me if she’s sleeping on the couch while I’m trying to keep the kids moving forward and struggling to do so.
This isn’t her fault and I would imagine that anyone with Fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue or a sleep disorder would understand.
Part of the reason she’s having so many problems is because she’s also in Menopause and has really bad hot flashes that keep her awake at night. Hormone replacement therapy either isn’t helping or it is helping and just taking the edge off. Either way, it’s very uncomfortable.
She’s resting and will hopefully be able to move around after a bit more sleep.
