Testing our resolve

Today we will be implementing a more aggressive approach to safety in our house. We had become a bit lax because things have been going so well.  However, that's changed and we are pushing forward with reinforcing the rule of no physical contact and only playing within earshot or eyesight.

This is going to be challenging on just about every level but it's something that has once again become necessary, to ensure everyone's safety and well being.

Gavin will be cooperative, at least on the surface.

The other boys are going to dislike this, a lot. Unfortunately, this is just something that everyone is going to have to accept.

We are doing what we've been advised to do and what's best for everyone, even if it's a bit unpleasant.

I don't know how today is going to go but I do know that our resolve will be tested.  We are going to stick to our guns until a better solution comes along.
