If you have an extra miracle lying around

Lizze woke up this morning with her migraine raging.  When it gets this bad, her sense of smell seems to get enhanced because she can smell everything.  Unfortunately, everything makes the migraine worse.
We have this lilac bush in our yard.  It’s huge and by huge I mean 2 stories tall.

For me, it smells amazing.

However, for Lizze, this enrages her migraine even more. Every year this is a problem and every year we say we’re going to take the lilac bush to the ground.

As you can probably guess, it never happens because something always comes up.

By the time we get around to it, it’s Jo longer blooming and therefore less of a priority.

I was hoping to at least go to a dollar movie today.  We can see a relatively recent movie for $2 total and that’s right within our budget.  It probably won’t  happen though.

Here’s my prediction for the day.

The boys will continue to fight amongst themselves until they leave and probably after.  Lizze is going to fall asleep and I won’t have the heart to wake her up.  Instead, I’ll probably work trying to land a new paid writing job. We desperately need the income and instead of resting today, I’ll push myself to keep working on this.

It’s a never ending cycle of insanity.

I’m stressed out so much and I need a break.  However, even when the opportunity for a break presents itself, I can’t bring myself to really out anything down because our situation is so dire right now.

This subject has been coming up more and more often lately in my writing.  I actually don’t like talking about it but because of my quest to educate the masses and help people better understand our struggle and subsequently the likely struggles of other families, I remain as transparent and honest as possible.

It’s not easy for me to admit a lot of this stuff but it’s also our personal truth and helps people to better understand our struggle.

Besides, I figure, maybe someone with an extra miracle lying around will read our story and be able to help.
