Sometimes just surviving the day is a victory

I'm really proud of the Lost and Tired family.  It might seem silly to say this but *we survived another day*.  Sometimes that in and of itself is a victory to be celebrated.

The boys didn't kill each other and for the most part, actually got along quite well.

Lizze managed to stay awake today, despite the amount of pain she's in and was a huge help to me. I was even able to sneak away and get almost 2 miles in today as well.  It's was friggin cold outside but the workout felt great.

I managed to get a ton of work done on the forums today. You can check out all the great new features I've been able to add by visiting the My Autism Help Forums.

On top of that, I also made a huge pot of chicken noodle soup, from scratch.

Everyone but Elliott will eat it.  I suppose 3 out of 4 ain't bad..  :-)

We have a lot of worries right now and many things weighing heavy on our hearts and minds.  However, today I think we managed to focus in the things we can control and left the rest to a higher power.

Surviving the day is truly a victory for us and I'm very proud of all of us.  :-)
