We found a better place

I wanted to let you all know that our trip to the movies was widely successful.  We saw *The Croods *and the boys loved it.  In fact, they loved it so much that they actually sat through the entire movie and even part of the credits.

It wouldn't seem like a movie would help to decompress the boys but it does seem to help.

They are both in a better mood having come out of that hour and a half in a much better place. Hopefully, this  can carry us through the rest of the weekend.

Have you ever had to throw caution to the do something out of desperation, in order to help your kids find a better day?
