I'm one of those people that attached a great deal of meaning to songs. While waiting to pick up Gavin from school today, this song came over Google Music and no matter what I'm doing one where I'm at, it always makes me think of Gavin.
The name of the song is Unwell by matchbox twenty.
I've associated this song with Gavin, ever since he began have psychotic breaks. When Gavin experiences a psychotic break, he basically sees things and hears things that are really there. Psychotic break simply means that he's lost touch with reality.
This song always reminds me of those struggles we faced when we first discovered that Gavin has form of schizophrenia.
In some weird way, this song has always been comforting for me and I thought I would share it with you all.
