My Manic Monday Scramble. Share yours..

I thought it might be fun to share our Manic Monday stories.  Monday's have historically been rather unpleasant for the Lost and Tired family.  Today is no exception.

Lizze got up with the boys this morning because I had a really bad night of restless sleep.

I was awoke by Lizze panicking and telling me that AEP had come out to shut off our power.  This was not exactly how I wanted to meet Monday morning. Having said that, it's better to face this sorta thing head on.

Lizze and I went into a scramble. We were literally counting change.  It's sad really, and some may even say irresponsible but we really do the best we can.  Sometimes it just comes down to counting pennies.

Anyway, I scrambled to the bank only to find that they were closed. I forgot that it was a holiday. However, the bank inside of the Giant Eagle was actually open and that was a life saver.  I had to pull out what we had in one account so that I could put everything into the bank at Giant Eagle.

Thankfully, we were able to put in enough to make the payment and pay the processing fee.

I ran home and was able to make the payment, with a few minutes left to spare. This was a crappy way to start the week.

Having said, we managed to pull this off and that was pretty darn amazing.   :-) I'm a pretty firm believer in *whatever doesn't kill you only makes you stronger*.

We couldn't have pulled this off without a little help from my parents.  Thank you so much.  :-)

Please feel free to share your Monday morning disaster stories.
