We will be at Akron Children’s Hospital today. This time it’s for Emmett’s eyes.  He’s been having trouble seeing, especially out of his right eye.

I have no idea how this is going to go because Emmett’s in a mood today.

I’m pretty sure Emmett’s going to need glasses and I’m definitely not sure how that’s going to go.

Do any of your kids have to wear glasses?

All of them.  My son got glasses when he was rather young…Kindergarten perhaps?  Age five.  My biggest fear with all the kids in glasses has been related to the expense of them, and getting broken occasionally.  We’ve taken advantage of places like Dr. Bizer’s Value vision where one often can get two for the price of one.  Walmart also has good prices.  Recently we’ve been taking advantage of our costco membership, and buying our glasses there, which prices, combined with our vision insurance, means we’ve been paying around thirty dollars per pair.  Also there are places like 39dollarglasses.com.  Also good. Be sure you hang on to his perscription and file it away in a safe place in case you need it.
