The high cost of stress

The cost of all those stress is very, very high. I think that the most profoundly affected by this is without question,  Lizze.

She is at a point where she is barely walking. She literally overdid things today by simply getting out of bed this morning. I have some indication of how bad things are for her because she’s using her cane in public. That’s something that never happens,  unless things are really bad.

On the positive side,  at least Emmett is the only one home during the day now.

I suppose I should qualify what I mean by at least Emmett is the only one home during the day now. Having Emmett by himself is still like living in a circus.  He’s only one child and his adorable looks do a great job of hiding all the energy,  mischief and challenge.

Having said that,  it’s easier than having to try and manage all the boys at the same time. It’s also a bit less stressful as well.

Anyway,  Lizze has a huge list of health problems as well and unfortunately, they are all exacerbated by stress.

One of my goals with Operation Hope is to not only get Gavin the help that he deserves but also provide everyone else with relief from this constant borage of stress we are all forced to endure at this point.

Hopefully, this can be a changing point for the entire Lost and Tired.
