My personal fitness wishlist

Another night of walking is going to be missed.  Another chance of getting healthier down the drain. The reason for this is simply life.

Lizze is having issues tonight in the form of the same or similar autonomic symptoms as Gavin

Her heart rate is irregular and bouncing between a tachycardia and a bradycardia.  She been getting very dizzy, light headed and nauseous.  I can’t exactly leave her home with the boys.  Plus,  Gavin just had another meltdown.

Those of you with challenging home lives can probably relate to the near impossibility of trying to get out of the house to go to the grocery store,  let alone try and squeeze in 5 miles as often as possible.

I have never really had a wishlist before.  However, I really,  really need to get a treadmill.  I was walking about 20-30 miles per week and it was so beneficial for me.  It was helping with my depression,  weight loss and cholesterol.  I miss walking but I can just never seem to get away anymore.

My goal,  is to get a working treadmill ASAP.

If anyone knows of any programs or companies that might be able to help me out in this arena,  please let me know. I would be very grateful. There are weird programs all around the country that help with bizarre things.  Maybe there’s one out there that can help with getting a decent,  working treadmill. 🙂

@kat13 @outoftheazul freecycle is a great idea

I would check out where there is a Freecycle branch in your area. It's an email listserv where people offer things they have and no longer want for free, and you can send out a "Wanted" post if you're hoping someone has something you want. I see treadmills being offered for free pretty often in my area (California, unfortunately), so it's worth looking at! The free section of Craigslist might be a place to check as well. Good luck!

I don't how far this is from you and $25 may be out of your budget which is understandable but I found this on craigslist.&nbsp ;http://akroncanton.craigslist.org/spo/3157431559.html Just thought I would share. Good luck.
