Look into his diet as well, milk with our Matt, causes hyper behavior as well as agitation ,(to the extreme,)and food dyes,to the point of self injury,to work off energy and promote relaxation, deep pressure massage, swinging, music if he likes it ,a mini trampoline,we don't yell or allow yelling, volumes on computers,tv's games are very low, as little artificial light as we can get away with(Matt hates the new energy saving light bulbs,I mean Hate!)Look for clues, one of best advice that was ever told to me was that meltdowns don't just happen there is a reason, maybe we aren't understanding what the trigger is but it is there,Look for smells, noises, things that might not of occurred to you before now and change it if you can ,(we went through MONTHS OF HUMMING,Drove us batty, until we figured out it was the light bulbs, out with the bulbs and the humming stopped! Thank you God! Hang in there, you will get though this time,as they get older ,you figure out what works for them and you,You and Lizze are amazing ,loving parents and at least you made it through The hall of fame weekend !lol Your family is in our thoughts and prayers Gloria Crane
