We have one more school day left for this year. Monday is Elliott's last day of school. Tuesday is a field trip of sorts, but it involves swimming and getting wet and we all know how Elliott dislikes getting wet.
I talked with Elliott at length and told him that it was his decision. We thought it would be a great idea but we wouldn't make him go.
I'm not sure what he's going to ultimately decide but so far he wants to stay home. I told him this afternoon that we could talk about it this weekend and help him decide what he wants to do. I want him to be as independent as possible and I think this experience will be a good lesson.
