I’m going to be brief because I have a chance to nap before finishing up my day. Gavin was extremely rude and disrespectful while at the hospital. Lizze is pretty upset and rightfully so.
We decided that we would deal with it as a team after he left the hospital today.
However, the moment he walked out the door, he began complaining of a tummy ache. He was extremely dramatic all morning and so this fits right in with the rest of his behavior choices recently.
However, Lizze took him back into the hospital and brought him to the bathroom, just in case. He ended up not having to pull after all.
We got about halfway home and he starts with the dramatics again. Just in case I pull off the friggin freeway. I’m trying to find a safe place to stop because Gavin was on the driver side of the van.
Seconds before I can find a spot he pukes, all over the inside of the goddamn van. It’s so bad that the only thing we could do was drive home.
Before we got home I decided to stop by the car wash and vacuum out the puke.
When we got home it took a roll of paper towels and 250 bleach wipes to clean the rest of it up.
He puke one more time before cleaning up and going to bed.
After all was said and done, it occurred to me that this was quite likely related to Dysautonomia and not his flare for the dramatics. He has been in bed for 2 days. This was really the first time he had gotten up. Within a few minutes of standing up and walking around, he got sick.
I’m so tired and I’m going to bed. I figured I would not take or share pictures of this as it was really, really gross.
We found out more but that will be a later post.

Nice tip Jenn50! I was going to suggest grocery bags but ziplock is better! Then maybe a grocery bag to stash it in so you don't have to look at it!
Poor kids and poor you and Liz! I hope you have a better day!
Poor Rob. If it's any consolation, everyone I know is complaining that their kids are acting up, and I've had some truly bizarre fire/EMS calls lately, with people behaving strangely. I blame the upcoming full moon!
I find that a box of jumbo ziploc bags stashed under the seat can be a lifesaver with nauseous kids in the van. They are easy to aim for and you can seal 'em up when you're through. Sorry for the god-awful mess you were faced with. My little ray of sunshine had what our family refers to as a "code brown" on Monday that literally took me all day to clean up in her bedroom, so I feel your pain. Hope you get some rest.
Thank you for not including pictures, hope things improve.
