I woke up this morning to the realization that today is *Friday the 13th*. Honestly, I'm not a superstitious guy but having said that, it's Friday the 13th.
I have already been back and forth to the Ford dealership and in a little bit, Emmett is being seen by his pediatrician for the second fever flare. We spoke with immunology last night and the said there is nothing we can do aside from 1ml of Benadryl, 4 times per day. It's something about reducing the inflammation.
Outside of that, all we can do is manage the pain and do our best to keep him hydrated. The doctor told us if we even suspect that he may be dehydrating or stops drinking that we are to get him to the ER right away.
As far as the van goes, I have no idea. We may get it back today or sometime next week.
There is a laundry list of issues right now that affect the safety and reliability of the van. We only have 6 days left on the warranty so I need to get this fixed ASAP because we simply can afford anymore expenses as we are crumbling under what we already have.
