How do you know when you have to much on your plate?

I spent all day yesterday, thinking it was Sunday. I have no idea why I was so confused. Exhaustion? Anyway, I had the boys in bed on time last night because I thought they had school this morning.

Lizze let me sleep in this morning -thank you honey-…… On school days, when she’s feeling up to it, she’ll get the boys off to school while I’m sleeping. I had assumed she had done the same thing this morning. However, when I woke up to some chaotic noise, I looked at my phone and it was 9:00am.

Panic set in and I rushed out of bed and got dressed as quickly as I could. I made it halfway down the stairs and I see everyone in the living room watching Phenias and Ferb. In my dazed and confused state, I was like WHAT ARE YOU DOING? The boys are late for school……

Lizze looked at me like I had lost my mind -the jury is still out on that one- and explained to me that it was Sunday.

My brain could not be convinced that it was indeed, Sunday. I literally based all my decisions yesterday around the fact that today would be Monday. Although as I’m thinking about it, we did get mail yesterday……hmmmm

Have any of you ever experienced anything like this before? I think it’s a sure sign that I need a freaking vacation. 🙂

Anyway, I hope you enjoy the rest of the weekend…

Feeling the same way…it seems to be happening more frequently for me lately.
