I finished the running around and shuttling the boys to school this morning. I dealt with the doctors at pain management for Lizze and then the insurance company.
I had just settled down on the couch because of exhaustion and not feeling well. I turned on Call of Duty and started to play. Nest thing I know, Lizze comes downstairs and tells me that the school just called. Apparently, Gavin is sick and I needed to go get him.
Gavin stomach wad upset and he was pale. While I was walking hin out to the car, he said he was better and wanted to stay. I decided it was best that he come home and go to bed. This may be a side effect of the increase in Clozapine. Today was only the second day that he has been on the new dose.
Hopefully, he’ll sleep this off and he won’t be sick in the morning. Tomorrow is going to be insanely busy and having anyone sick is going to be a huge problem.
I dealing with a pretty bad head cold, or man cold as Lizze, affectionately likes to call it.
I need everything to go right or it won’t work. Lizze is not doing well and so most of this falls on me. I don’t have a whole lot to give at the moment and anything I take for the cold is going to knock me out. As much as I would love to be knocked out, I have to be able to function to keep things moving forward.
Not sure if this will help you but you could take beta carotene to boost your immune system. Your body takes it and makes the amount of vitamin A that it needs. Take it whenever I get sick, it helps a lot.
Any chance you have some 'Dayquill' or a generic alternative? That stuff is non drowsy and should help clear you up a bit.
Wow. My life is difficult and hectic, money's tight, and most of us are on one medication or another, but it doesn't hold a candle to what you are going through. If I could show up and help you guys drive kids around, I would. I hope your day tomorrow (and the rest of today) goes very smoothly.
Thanks for the support. Please keep in mind that everyone\’s life experience is relative. I truly appreciate the kind words. 🙂
