Brushing

I thought I would post this in order to help clarify something that I refer to quite frequently.

I talk about *brushing* the kids all the time as a means of providing sensory relief.  I wasn't sure if anyone had actually seen the brushes used for this. I thought I would post a few pictures of what is probably the most commonly used brush.

This brush works very well.  It's soft but firm and the kids really benefit from it.  We tend to get ours directly from our OT for under $2. 00 each.

I hope this helps someone.  If nothing else, maybe this gives you a little more knowledge than you had before. ;-)
