With Autism Awareness month approaching, I wanted to share a collection of Autism related quotes and memes... I created these with the intention of them being shared, so please feel free to do so. The quotes and memes have been very popular over the last year or so but until now have been spread all over the place. I hope this provides you with hope and inspiration to keep plugging away.... ☺
I wanted to provide further insight into the daily life of an Autism family by sharing pictures that I've never shared before. These are taken from a multitude of average days. They range from doctors appointments, school achievements and public outings to simply goofing around at home. What this shows is that Autism families are very much human. In some ways, we're not much different than any other family, and in others ways, couldn't be more different. This is daily life for The Autism Dad household. ☺

I wanted to invite you all to check out my new podcast called Life with Autism. This is hosted by myself and Joel Manzer of Autisable, in conjunction with The Coffee Klatch. This is our first episode and while it's a little bit rough, it will only get better as we move forward.
All you have to say is "routine change" and an Autism parent will quiver in fear. Routine change is like a four letter word in this community and I'm bracing for a major routine change in Emmett's life this week.....
