Have you ever bathed a ferret?

It's been a few months since the last time we did this but it was high time to give the ferrets a bath. It's not recommended that you bathe a ferret more than a few times a year because doing so, can actually make them smell worse. Emmett and I took on the task of bathing all four of the ferrets, two at a time. Some of the ferrets really like the water and some of them don't. Lemme wanted nothing to do with it. Tiny, Zane and Charlie did quite well by comparison. The hardest and most painful part for me personally, was their claws. How we calm our ferrets so their nails can be trimmed

There's a trick to trimming a ferrets nails, and it's called distraction. We have to do with with our ferrets every two weeks or so. If we didn't, their nails get like a raptors talons and can accidentally do so damage, or cause injury. Feeling Blessed / Gallery / My thoughts

On a lighter note…..

Lizze and I had a relatively quiet night, after the boys went to bed. Noone came down because they all fell asleep. ☺ Anyway, I wanted to share a few things that I felt were really positive. Maybe not so much positive, but pleasant for me personally. This may seem kinda dumb but I spent some time rebuilding the ferret pen tonight. We have been have a problem with Lemme. She keeps letting herself out, because she enjoys wandering the house. She never causes any harm, but we don't want her getting hurt or getting into something she shouldn't. Lemme is crazy smart. She will exploit any possible way to get out of her pen. It's truly amazing to see how she thinks. Thank God she's the only smart one,…
