Maggie's the best dog ever and she was a rescue We got Maggie when Emmett was just 6 months old. Everyone thought we were crazy to bring a Pit bull into our house with little kids. She's a very intimidating dog if she doesn't know you or you intend to do harm to her family but to everyone else, this is the Maggie we know and love.... A gentle giant who loves to be a my footrest and snuggle with anyone that will let her, especially the kids.

Read more about the article Here’s a great tool for kids with expressive language challenges
Here's a great tool for kids with expressive language challenges Emmett's occupational therapist at Akron Children's Hospital, has been working with him in his ability to utilize expressive language. Emmett's light-years ahead of most NT kids his age and even older, in the speech and intellect categories. With that said, he struggles tremendously when it comes to expressive language. It's actually alarming at times because he's so advanced in most other areas and his vocabulary is immense, it's really easy to lose sight of how much he needs help in his expressive language skills.. This is one of the little cheat sheets that his OT fills out with him and they practice during therapy. Perhaps it may be of use to someone else as well..
