As parents to special needs children, we experience many challenges and joys. Unfortunately, we also know far more than our fair share of heartbreak as well. This is one such time for my family
Gavin was able to accomplish something good he never thought he’d be able to do…. ☺
I had to make an executive decision this afternoon and it’s one I didn’t want to have to make.
We had a hectic morning but along the way, I was presented with a chance to test Gavin and here’s what happened.
At the time of writing (12:30 am), I’m not feeling well and Emmett went to bed with a fever.
It’s never going to get better but it has gotten worse over the years
When I say tolerate it, I’m referring to physically tolerating it. Emotionally, he doesn’t have a say. It’s unfortunate but these have to happen in whatever manner is best.
