I swear we have a black cloud that just follows us around, waiting for the right time to dump whatever it has got on us. Maybe that sounds a bit pessimistic but it certainly feels just about right. I got a call from the shop today about the van. They can't get it to act up. In fact they said they got it to start up right away like nothing was wrong. This is driving me crazy. We can't seem to isolate the problem. If we don't isolate the problem then we will just nickel/dime ourselves to death.  Waterloo Transmission knows this so they want to be sure before they start replacing anything. Yesterday was a day of mixed blessings. There were some positives and also great tragedy. I'll start with the good news. Lizze left here final treatment MIGRAINE FREE. After almost a 2 month long migraine she finally has met with relief. Thank you everyone for your support, thoughts and prayers during this process. Emmett is really taken to using the phone to learn. He is learning new words and building self confidence at the same time. It does at least, appear to be helping him settle down a little bit. He actively seeks these learning apps out and has learned to navigate the device himself. So that's also good news. We also received some really bad news as well. We took Gavin to school this morning and decided to go visit my parents. Grabbed the boys some breakfast and headed over. The boys are doing better and we needed to get out of the house. I have been home alone with 2 or 3 sick kids most of the week and to be quite honest I'm going a bit stir crazy. Emmett will be returning to school today but Elliott is still on hold as we are still waiting for the culture results. Lizze started her last day of treatment. Let's get caught up on Lizze's current status and condition, post day 2 of the headache infusion. Right now it's a lot tougher to keep caught up on this blog. I have 3 sick special needs kids and my wife having a 3 day long procedure to break her almost 2 month old migraine. She came home yesterday about 1:15pm, sick to her stomach from the meds and looking pretty rough. She slept for awhile until I had to run to the grocery store. Basically, it was explained to us that it would have taken many months of oral medications to get the levels to where they will be after the third and final infusion. I would imagine that takes it's toll on the body. But the process is designed…

Gavin is clearly struggling. Not sure if it's due to medication adjustment or or just mother nature. Blood work was a drama filled ordeal today. He was doing so well that one person was able to do it alone. Today he was nervous going in and screamed while he was back there. Everyone was really nice and completely understanding. Gavin kept screaming even after it was done. I got a look from people cause I had to step. Into him a little bit. I needed to keep things from exculating any further and I wasn't mean at all.
