I was up with Emmett most of the night. At some point he spiked a fever. This may explain why he been so upset the last day or so. Maybe he just hasn't been feeling well as that would explain a lot. He actually hasn't been sick in over a month, so this is pretty good for him. Alright, Gavin has almost 20 pairs of socks and yet this happens. I don't understand how he does this. So we asked him yesterday and this is what happened. Turns out he's doing this on purpose. He grabs his socks and twirls them around his finger. Eventually he wears them thin and they break through. Not sure what to say to that but this is what I did say. I explained to him that if he continues to destroy his clothes on purpose then he will have to use his own money to replace them when the time comes. He assured me that it would stop. Gavin is sick AGAIN tonight. I don't know what the heck is going on. We are calling the Gastro first thing in the morning. I think they are going to do a second bowel prep. They said that he was so backed up that a second round may be needed. Something has to give because he can't keep going on like this. We need to get him some relief. Hopefully we can do that tomorrow. I wish I knew WTF was going on because he should not be getting sick like this everyday....

This post was not easy to write but I hope it benefits someone out there that may be in a similar boat and needs help. Hopefully, my honesty will help you to realize that you are not alone :-) I need help........   I have been going through some things lately. I have, for a while now, been.....preoccupied with my own mortality. It has become more and more difficult to manage these feelings.......actually, more like fears, anymore. I feel like my life is over or I'm dying and it's a HORRIBLE feeling. The rational side of me knows that my life has really only just begun. Gavin has been vomiting all morning. We arent exactly sure why either. I suspect that it has something to do with the bowel issues. I'm thinking that the bowel prep wasn't enough to clean him out. The doc said that if it doesn't work we have to call them and do it again. We are going to have to do that first thing in the morning as I don't think they are in the office due to the holiday. He seems to be feeling better and so I think we will be find, at this point anyway, waiting till the morning.
