People always ask me about my inspiration for what I do. Well, here it is. :-)

Last night, the boys had therapy with Dr. Patti.  We spoke with Elliott for a little while because he has been really, really struggling.  He's sad and extremely anxious. Emmett still seems to be taking steps backwards and honestly, that's got us pretty freaked out.  If we hadn't experienced regression before with Gavin,  I'd not be as concerned but.....we haven't been so lucky. Overall it went pretty well. Emmett had a meltdown that lasted for about 20 minutes or so. He also spent some time bullying Elliott and then learning about better ways of responding. Hopefully, something was learned by both Emmett and Elliott. I took this picture of Emmett and I thought that it was just super adorable. One of the things that I want to do here at Lost and Tired is reach out to as many families within the community as possible. One of the ways I can do this is through is through giveaways. I've already been lucky enough to give away 2 android tablets, thanks to Samsung and Motorola.  I know that the families that received those devices were very grateful. Lizze is really, really happy with her new doctor.  Once again though, there is questions about the quality of care she has been receiving at the local level. We didn't learn much in the way of new health information but we have a direction to go in now.  Before we leave, she needs x-rays on her hands and and blood work done. She's also being referred to the Cleveland Clinic's sleep clinic as well.  There is probably more I missed but I'm sure Lizze will cover that on her blog today as well. 

Wow,  this is one of the longest intakes I have ever experienced. All I can say is Holy Intake Batman, this is taking forever. Seriously though, some of her records were messed up and needed to be reentered, while we were there. Emmett remains patient, at least for now.

We have arrived at the Cleveland Clinic, fashionably late.  Traffic was unbelievable.  Lizze is getting checked in and I'm hanging out with Emmett, who's doing really well.  Hopefully, hopefully we will find some answers for Lizze.  Part of Operation Hope is getting Lizze's health back on the right path.  Most of her ailments are stress induced. Unfortunately, Gavin creates tons and tons of stress.  This is the first chance we have had to try to get her pain under control. I want to make the most of this for her.
