Lizze and I will be married for 10 years this September. Over the years her health has gone downhill and she spends most of her time in tremendous amounts of pain and misery. Today was a very artsy kinda day.  Everyone was drawing, creating and having fun. Emmett really surprised me with his work today.  He drew Phineas and Ferb along with Perry the Platypus, from memory.  For a kid that just turned 5 years old, I think this is pretty friggin good. Sleep and I have a rather love/hate relationship.  I love to sleep and sleep hates letting me. Lizze and I are down two kids tonight and I should be taking full advantage of this time to rest.  Unfortunately, my brain is working and simply won't stop thinking about everything I have to worry about.  How messed up is that? I get a break but I can't get the rest I need to be better able to parent my kids when they get home, inevitably overstimulated. I've thought about just running into the wall, over and over again, until I'm unconscious. However, that would likely cause more problems than its worth. If someone asked me to describe Gavin today, using only one word, it would be strange. Gavin is acting strange. I don't know of how else to describe him.  He just seems off. I've had to address some odd behavioral issues with him today as well.  He's sorta either loitering or he'll be literally following people around.  If you aren't aware he's there and you stop walking, he runs right into you.  Other times he just stands there watching you... I woke up this morning and found that Lizze was no longer where she was, when I fell asleep. When I got up to look for her and found her downstairs on the couch. Apparently, she was driven from bed by relentless hot flashes last night.  I feel terrible because I was not even aware that she was struggling to sleep.  If she woke me up, I simply don't remember. Menopause is a an absolute bitch.
