I wanted to try something a little different and even unrelated to the main topic of this site. The Lost and Tired family is a family of very little means. As such, we don't get out as often as we would like to.  Having said that, I thought it would be really cool to demonstrate all the amazing things you can show your kids, without ever leaving your yard. So I've been up and moving around pretty well this morning and now afternoon. Lizze made it to and from her appointment this morning and even got a nap afterwards.  She's now banished me to our room so I can rest and write a little bit. Gavin's having a pretty good day today.  I can't say that I'm totally surprised because he's very capable of having good days. Lizze is at the doctors and I'm at home with the boys. I'm feeling better than I did yesterday but for some reason, I'm completely drained and without any energy. I haven't really been eating since I got sick and I'm sure that has something to do with it. Right now I'm just really grateful that boys are getting along right now because I wouldn't have the energy to pull them apart. Thank God for small favors. Tonight is family therapy night with Dr. Pattie.  We missed yesterday because yours truly was sicker than a dog. Thankfully, I'm feeling much better now and so we were able to get the kids to their appointment tonight.  Lizze and I rely on these appointments as though they are a port in the storm. I shared a while ago that I would be writing for the Akron Children's Hospital website.  I haven't had a great deal of time to get anything written for them. However, that's all changed as I have been published this week. I would have shared this with you the other day but I was sick and didn't do much of anything but sleep. I'm so honored to be able to work with Akron Children's Hospital as they are among the very best in the country and for good reason.
