At this point, I'm begging the powers that be for mercy. We need a break, even a small one will suffice.

How much of your life would improve if people understood what you were going through? How about your child with special needs? How much would their lives improve if people were understanding instead of cruel and judgemental?

We made him as comfortable as we could and gave him his meds. He fell asleep, feeling better and is still sleeping as I'm writing this.

I just wanted to say Thank You.  Thank you for working with me as long as you did. Thank you for making me feel like I mattered and working with me to resolve our issues.  I'm sorry that it didn't work out.  I did the best I could in the situation I found myself in.

Between Emmett not sleeping well last night and the really long week, I'm exhausted.

As far as I'm concerned, there are a great many things that I can't fix.  However, tonight I can help my little Emmett John feel safe and comfortable enough to finally sleep.

If he's not doing better, we'll probably have to seriously consider taking him to the ER. He's going to need fluids via IV. You're not going to vomit from IV fluids because they going directly into your blood stream. It's the fastest way to hydrate someone.
