The Van update
All that is wrong is a sensor broke. They are fixing it for free. I have to bring the van back on a day where we have nothing going on. So that's where we are with that.

Emmett John and I did the steps at the Monument. We did the steps 4 times and then the hill 3 times. Also we did the other stairs around the monument because Emmett wanted too do all the steps. Eventually sut of the GPS and stopped tracking. This is great phys ical therapy for Emmett John and I think I will try to get him out there a few times a week.
So the Fit 4 Autism team has some AMAZING news. We have acquired some new members and now the Fit 4 Autism team has accumulated 9599.46km or about 6000 miles. How awesome is that... I want to thank everyone for helping to bring attention to Autism and the health and fitness needs of the special needs parents. Got Elliott off to school. He didn't want to go and who has school on Columbus Day anyway... The check engine light is on so the van has to go back in this morning. Lizze has a doctors appointment this morning as well. Have to drop her off then go to Waterloo Transmission. Then I have to pick Lizze up and hopefully I'll have the van back to do that with. Lizze is going to go meet the doctors at Akron Children's and I am going to walk with Emmett John to the school to pick up Elliott and then figure out how to get them home. The main concern for today is one of us getting to Akron. If the van isn't safe then I'm not sure what we…
Went and saw Gavin today. He is doing the same. They aren't real sure what is going on with him. We have to meet with the doctors Monday to discuss everything in more detail. We didn't get to visit for long but we'll see him Monday again. Please keep him in you prayers.
Gavin's paperwork last night said that they are guessing he will be hospitalized until Sun 10/17/2010. I can't believe that he will be gone for 8 days! So I was thinking (dangerous, I know lol) that like any other 10 year-old boy, Gavin <3loves <3 to get mail. Unlike the Cleveland Clinic, Akron Kids offers the opportunity to send ecards to patients. So if you are so inclined to make Gavin's day, please go here and send him an e-card. It will only take a moment or two and I know he'll be so excited to get them. :) Also, if you could please pass this along I would really appreciate it. Thanks! :) PS Please be sure to send them to GAVIN GORSKI otherwise he will not receive them. Thanks…
...how frustrated I am with Gavin's behaviors it's not easy to know he's not sleeping in the other room. I truly hope this is the last time we have to do this. He is working so hard on controlling himself and his behavior has improved so much. He is there through no fault of his own. These are all medical necessities that must be addressed. It's times like this when it's really hard explain the quandary I find myself in while trying to get Gavin the help he needs yet at the same time I am grateful for the break. What does that say about me as a parent?
This song always makes me think of Gavin. I heard it tonight and I think this is the best way to describe what he is going through (at least with the voices).
