Gavin was taken to Akron Children's Hospital this afternoon, per Dr. R's orders. You can read the details of why here as I just don't have the energy left to get into that again right now. Gavin was admitted to the psychiatric floor today about 5pm. When we arrived, we were taken back right away. I got him registered while Lizze sat with him in the room. When I got back Gavin had already gotten a hold of the TV remote and was finding his favorite cartoon. I took the remote and shut off the TV. I explained that we are NOT here to have fun and so there would be NO TV. He was less then thrilled and actually became a bit agitated. I decided it was best to go explain to the staff…

We all made the short trip to Lizze parents house to visit with her family. The boys had a blast and I enjoyed myself as well. Emmett was glued to his Android4Autism device, as usual. Gavin ended up getting sick and so I had to bring him home. Lizze said with the other two and her mom brought them home later. Emmett is spending the night. What's frustrating for me was that, apparently, Gavin has been sick all day and just didn't tell us. He really wanted a cupcake and he knew we would not let him go if he was sick. I will never understand....and clearly neither will they. I had a comment posted earlier to my "Please lose the word "retard from you vocabulary" post. The comment read: "It's a word, you only make it good or bad by how you take it. Lighten up." You heard that correctly. The Lost and Tired household is going to have to ban the tooth fairy. That sounds a little extreme...right? What if I told you that Gavin is now literally pulling his teeth out. Gavin is basically, picking a tooth and literally wiggling it until he can pull it out. We didn't realize this was going on until this afternoon. Gavin has lost 3 or 4 teeth in the past couple weeks and honestly we didn't think anything of it. However, he came down last night and told me that he "pulled" out another tooth. When he used the word "pull" instead of "lost", it caught my attention.
