Whatever Monday, bring it on!

We have a pretty busy week ahead of us.  We have therapy just about every day and several doctors appointments as well.  However,  Thursday night,  Lizze and I have a date.  I surprised her with tickets to the new Twilight movie.  This is really the only thing she ever asks for and I got tickets a few weeks ago when they went on sale. I'm pretty excited to get some alone time with Lizze.  We never get time alone and I think it's so important for our marriage. I just have this to say as Monday approaches.    Bring it on..... - Lost and Tired Posted by Wordpress for Android via Samsungs Epic Touch 4G (provided to me at no charge by Sprint) without the use of proper editing tools and…

Meeting for Elliott’s IEP

We meet in the morning to set up Elliott's IEP.  His testing has been done so we have a better understanding of what he needs help with.  I know many would dread this meeting but with Elliott and Gavin's school,  it's actually a pleasant experience. It will likely only last a short time as there will be nothing to argue over.  The school spares no expense when it comes to providing services. For that we are very grateful.  :-) - Lost and Tired Posted by Wordpress for Android via Samsungs Epic Touch 4G (provided to me at no charge by Sprint) without the use of proper editing tools and disadvantages of a bastardized version of auto-correct. What’s wrong with people?

Last night we had another incident in my neighborhood.  A white Chevy Tahoe came speeding down my street about 40 or 50 mph and out of control. Prior to actually seeing the Tahoe, I heard two loud bangs.  I immediately thought it was another drive by shooting (which we did have a few blocks over later on that night) so I called the Police. What was really odd was the Tahoe was driving on it's rim,  something that would send shivers down any car lovers spine. Next thing I know,  the Tahoe crashes into a fence and guard rail at the car dealership at the end of my street. I never saw the driver and I also never saw anyone flew the crashed SUV. I met some people out in…

Angry Fish, Happy Emmett

Emmett absolutely loves this game called Angry Fish on the XBOX 360. He rediscovered it today and has been quite content, for the first time today,  shooting these angry fish out of a cannon at the meowing kitties on the other side of the screen. I say, hey,  whatever makes him happy.  I also say, hey,  whatever makes him not scream.  :-) - Lost and Tired Posted by Wordpress for Android via Samsungs Epic Touch 4G (provided to me at no charge by Sprint) without the use of proper editing tools and disadvantages of a bastardized version of auto-correct. I think Gavin’s manic

I think that Gavin may be hitting a manic phase once again. When we had his bloodwork done this week,  we had them check his Lithium levels as well..just be on the safe side. He's been getting up very early in the morning,  which is typical for him when he's manic.  He's talking essentially,  which is another sign as well. Hopefully,  if the Lithium levels are off we can correct things before it gets worse. In the spirit of trying to remain positive,  at least if he is manic,  he hasn't reached the point where he thinks he can fly.  When he begins having delusions of grandeur,  I know we are in trouble. - Lost and Tired Posted by Wordpress for Android via Samsungs Epic Touch 4G (provided to me…

Don’t say anything about my kids

Yesterday after Gavin and Elliott got their flu shots,  I took them to McDonalds for lunch and to play on the indoor playground.  When it was time to play on the playground,  I will admit being nervous because I wasn't sure how it would go with all the other kids. There were a lot of other kids playing. These kids were completely out of control. Knocking tables and drinks over,  all while their parents ignored the behavior and the damage they were doing. As it turned out,  my boys were perfect angles compared to the other kids.  So with that said, I would like to make a general statement.  Before you go judging my kids take a look at your own first :-) - Lost and Tired Posted by Wordpress…

Are you freaking kidding me

Apparently our offer was rejected by Maggie this morning.  If your unfamiliar with the offer,  basically,  it's a peanut butter Kong and some dog food laid out on a plate to help Maggie deal with anxiety of being home alone. She has been more anxious lately in light of the recent increase in violence in our neighborhood.  She already stressed out when the kids (aka,  her babies)  would leave the house but now it's gotten worse.  This is the worst we have seen.  She actually completely destroyed the couch.  I mean we everything that should be on the inside is now on the outside. I'm not angry,  thanks you Paxil,  but this is quite frustrating.  I don't know how to help her.  She was doing well for a little while…

Immunized

So as it turns out,  Emmett was able to get it done in one shot,  pardon the pun. :-) Anyway,  it was over in 10 seconds but Emmett was quite upset for much longer.  We now have to wait for 30 minutes in order to make sure that he doesn't have a reaction. - Lost and Tired Posted by Wordpress for Android via Samsungs Epic Touch 4G (provided to me at no charge by Sprint) without the use of proper editing tools and disadvantages of a bastardized version of auto-correct.
